TITLE: Interdisciplinary approach. From planning to the final delivering of a full mouth rehabilitation.
SPEAKER: Dr. Giacomo Armani
ABSTRACT:

Nowadays the idea of aesthetics and appearance seems to have taken place in many medical branches and in dentistry it has acquired an extraordinary importance too.

But is it really correct that this concept guides and covers one of the most important roles in dental diagnosis today? Should the aesthetics guide us projecting the treatment plan? These are just some of the questions we ask ourselves in our clinical practice day by day when we are going to perform a complex rehabilitation. So where do we start?

When we have to start "restoring" a lost smile, the aesthetic part is something we always have to deal with, but firstly we have to start collecting all the clinical data, radiographic and photographic information, talking to the patient to understand the real needs (chief complaint), recording videos, and analyzing every detail, sharing the case with more specialists to create an individualized treatment plan.

In this course we will analyze all the necessary steps from the first visit to the delivery of the final rehabilitation, analyzing the multidisciplinary aspects that allow us to create an individual and minimally invasive care plan.
