ABSTRACT: Esthetics around implants is a challenging issue that actually is crucially played in the area between the fixture collar and the abutment. There are several biologic features regulating the chance to modulate and reshape such area named TRANSITION ZONE. Surgical procedure may strongly influence it, but also the prosthetic strategy may increase or impair the emergence profile esthetics of an implant-supported reconstruction.
